  1. I built my first synth a PAIA little slippery bagge when I were about 11, loved it until all the diodes exploded at once and I was left with a HUGE emotional hole and the smell of burnt toast throughout my mind…seriously, I love electronic music and have invested heavily in a TON of shite I have NO IDEA how to use, meaning basically the key programs of any successful music designer, inter alia..DAWS..even my garageband takes an HOUR to open if it doesn’t crash..what I want to learn in Chron. order is first LIVE by ABLETON, can you recommend a course that would be a good jumping in point? AND also…does anyone there ANYONE know how to deal effectively with Native Instrumetns.I swear, I got ranked by the seller of Komplete 9 then I found out it was the education version, ergo misrepresented, THEN he is like Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde, so I cannot count of hm we’ll I cain for a MIGRANE, the same with NI Tech help, I sear it’s like pulling teeth..myonly issues is EVERYTHING IS FINE, except for REAKTOR..ONLY a few synths within reactor work..I was lucky because Monark (the moog send up) and some other intense ones work but the mouth, the finger, prism/prism fx, razor and a ton of others just literally became UNHINGED when I loaded the program and service center said there were 13 updates and I loaded them….is that how this might have happened, buecase NO ONE, not NI not the seller will hep me….NO ONE. I than any input you ma have..and I’e decided to spend the extra beyond he Bachelors in social work on this..I hate SW and I love music and life is WAY WAY WAY too short to do something one hates, etc so…anyway I thank you if even possible to answer this.

Hi Randall! You can check out all of our music production course listings here: http://online.berklee.edu/music-production

We offer a number of different production certificate programs in addition to a music production bachelor’s degree online, as well. I would recommend contacting our Academic Advisors as they will be able to put you on the right path, course-wise. They can be reached at 1-866-BERKLEE (or 1-617-747-2146 if you are outside of North America) or by email at advisors@berkleemusic.com.

I am a retired engineer and thinking about learning to play a music instrument. I have no music experience and wonder if starting with “music theory 101″ is suited for someone who just wants to learn music as a hobby.
